Code-type congruence was much greater between the two forms of the test (one administration) than between two administrations of each form of the test. The use of uniform rather than linear T-scores had a negligible effect on code-type congruence. When code types had definition of at least 5 T-score points, congruence was considerably greater than had been reported in the test manual. Samples of 2,600 normative subjects and 423 psychiatric patients were utilized to examine the degree of congruence between Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) and MMPI-2 code types.
